So, if you do a blog, eventually you start to worry about audience engagement. One of the things you offer as a writer is “community”, which is an inappropriate phrase for “interactivity of any kind”, but how everyone refers to it anyway.
I try to do some of this by being 24/7 available in the RC Advice section and by replying to most-or-all of the comments, but it doesn’t seem like enough; I could definitely be doing more work here. One normal way that works is book clubs, which commenter CDH pointed out that a bunch of people are already doing to good effect.
Since I don’t read as much as I should, I need help on that; what should we read? The only thing that pops to mind that I’ve actually wanted to tackle in the last couple years is The Benedict Option, but I’m nearly completely open to suggestion on this.
Let me know! I’ll get this rolling in the next couple of weeks; it won’t replace any other content, but will be an additive secondary kind of content. Also, if you’ve done book clubs before and want this to go well, it also might be worth your time to give me advice on how to do it - it’s not the kind of thing I’m inherently good at organizing.
